From school…

This week I sent a questionnaire to 31 pet owners and asked some questions about the pet raising app. What surprised me is that no one knows about pet health through APP, and only one of 31 people is using APP about pets. So this survey makes me more determined to come to my direction, an APP about pet health. As for some functional details, I need to continue to explore.

From my work…

This week I completed a request to add comment functions to the existing system. This function seems very common because the social software and news apps we commonly use often have this function. But when I came to design this feature for a system, I found many details of UX to consider. For example, reply comments are sorted from the newest to the oldest or from the oldest to the latest; it affects the reply input box’s position and affects its reading experience. Therefore, I found that UX is an exciting thing. As UX designers, we need to start from users’ real demands and usage scenarios and consider how they read reviews to design, not based on our fantasy. We are designed for users, not ourselves.
